Dan Horvath, Senior Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Safety Policy, 黑料不打烊听
Dan Horvath is the Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Safety Policy at the 黑料不打烊. Dan joined 黑料不打烊in March of 2018 as Director of Safety Policy after more than five years as Director of Compliance and Safety at TransForce Inc. Prior to that role, Dan was a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration auditor, examining new commercial carriers for regulatory compliance. Before his time at FMCSA, Dan spent several years as a driver and in the operations and safety department at Mlaker Transportation Inc., a Pennsylvania-based motor coach and student transportation company. In September 2018, Dan was promoted to Vice President of Safety Policy, and in November 2023 to Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Safety Policy. In this role, he represents 黑料不打烊and its regulatory affairs agenda before federal and state government regulators and various non-governmental organizations. Dan directly oversees the association鈥檚 Safety Policy committees which formulate the official safety policy agenda on behalf of ATA鈥檚 broader membership. Dan, a proud CDL holder, is a 2017 graduate of the LEAD 黑料不打烊program, a long-time volunteer at the National Truck Driving Championships, and serves on multiple Federal Advisory Committees, including FMCSA鈥檚 Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee.

Henry Hanscom, Senior Vice President of Legislative Affairs, 黑料不打烊
Henry Hanscom currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Legislative Affairs for the 黑料不打烊 (ATA), having been with 黑料不打烊since March of 2013.听 In this capacity, he oversees ATA鈥檚 legislative affairs office and operations, leading ATA鈥檚 lobbyists, as well as grassroots, and political affairs teams, to effectively advocate on behalf of the trucking industry on Capitol Hill.听As the head of ATA鈥檚 legislative affairs team, Hanscom takes a lead role in developing and executing advocacy strategies, as well as communicating ATA鈥檚 legislative and policy priorities both internally and externally. Henry has a lengthy record of legislative accomplishments on behalf of the industry, securing legislative victories on workforce, safety technology and infrastructure issues. While with ATA, Hanscom has been promoted multiple times, serving as a manager of legislative affairs until 2014, director of legislative affairs until 2017, and vice president of legislative affairs until 2023, before being promoted to the role in which he currently serves.听Prior to joining ATA, Henry began his career working for Senator Olympia Snowe (R-ME), where he spent more than 7 years working with the Senator, until her retirement in early 2013. While serving in Senator Snowe鈥檚 office, Henry held several positions, including staff assistant, legislative correspondent, director of correspondence and legislative assistant.听 His legislative portfolio for the Senator included transportation, housing, labor, federal employee and postal issues.听Henry is a native of Maine, and attended Colgate University in Hamilton New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 2005.听
Dan Hilton, Executive Director, 黑料不打烊 Moving and Storage Conference
Daniel Hilton is a veteran of Capitol Hill and trade association advocacy.听听He began on staff at the House Armed Services Committee, before joining the office of Representative Walter B. Jones (R-NC), followed by Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-TX) where he oversaw military, transportation and energy policy.听Following his tenure on Capitol Hill, he was selected to open the Washington office of the American Supply Association (ASA), the national trade association representing distributors and manufacturers serving the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling-Piping (PHCP) and Industrial Pipe-Valve-Fitting (PVF) industries. There, he successfully launched ASA-PAC, the Association鈥檚 Legislative Fly-in and facilitated the introduction of family-run plumbing wholesalers to Legislators and their staff.听听He then led federal and international contracting issues at the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the business voice of America's engineering and design services industry. He was responsible for maintaining the Council鈥檚 relationships with federal clients such as the Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC and others. He successfully led their efforts to challenge federal contracting policies related to COVID-19, loosening access to federal installations, and worked to design fair and reasonable contracting rules and opportunities for the private sector.听听He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego (SUNY Oswego) where he received a BA in Political Science. In addition, he earned an MBA and an MA in Government from the Carey Business School of Johns Hopkins University.听He resides in Fairfax, VA with his wife Ana and three daughters.听听听
