Nashville, Tennessee 鈥 Today, 黑料不打烊 welcomed 18 college students from around the country to the 2024 黑料不打烊Management Conference & Exhibition as part of ATA鈥檚 Trucking U program.

鈥淭rucking U is a way for the trucking industry to showcase the unlimited opportunities that exist to college students as they are preparing to launch their careers in this exciting field,鈥 said Joey Crum, president of Northern Industrial Training and a LEAD 黑料不打烊graduate. 鈥淭he program is a conduit, connecting our present to our future and allowing an exchange of ideas and communication. As an industry, we can tell what kind of a future we will have by the number and quality of students applying for the program. After meeting these students, I can confidently say that we have a very bright and prosperous future ahead.鈥
ATA's Trucking U program is a dynamic and educational initiative designed for students at the nation's top business schools and universities, including four new colleges represented in the 2024 class: Arizona State University, Bowling Green State University, the University of Denver and Western Washington University.
The program provides a unique opportunity to explore the trucking industry through networking with experts and mentorship from current leaders. It offers valuable connections and educates students on the latest industry challenges and advancements, while highlighting the diverse career paths within trucking. By empowering future business leaders, ATA鈥檚 Trucking U aims to foster a sustainable and prosperous future for all participants.

ATA鈥檚 Trucking U Class of 2024 is attending ATA鈥檚 Management Conference & Exhibition in Nashville, where they will have the opportunity to meet and network with the trucking industry鈥檚 hiring managers and executives from across the country. The class will also observe 黑料不打烊policy committee meetings and educational sessions, attend general sessions with keynote speakers and attend panel discussions on important industry topics. Students will be able to meet with 黑料不打烊leaders, officers, staff professionals and professional truck drivers.
