奥补蝉丑颈苍驳迟辞苍听鈥撀牶诹喜淮蜢萂oving & Storage Conference Executive Director Dan Hilton聽sent a letter聽to the leadership of the Senate and House Armed Services Committees聽urging聽Congress to seek immediate clarification from U.S. Transportation Command (TRANSCOM) on its plans and expectations for the Global Household Goods Contract (GHC) program moving forward.

Hilton wrote: "For some time, ATA-MSC has raised serious concerns that GHC implementation through TRANSCOM is proceeding without transparency or a clear strategy for the future of that implementation. This lack of transparency or strategy prevents the moving industry from making the requisite investments to secure future capacity needed under either GHC or DP3 (or both). We therefore urge your committees to formally request answers from TRANSCOM to the following questions:

  1. Does TRANSCOM still have confidence in HomeSafe Alliance and the GHC program to meet the objectives for which it was awarded?
  2. Is there an intention to provide financial or contractual support to HomeSafe Alliance to maintain continuity through a peak season pause?
  3. Is there a defined plan to resume the transition from DP3 to GHC post-peak season in Fall 2025 and beyond, and if so, under what conditions and timeline? If not, what is the plan for domestic household goods moves in Fall 2025 and beyond?"
